![]() He wasn’t stupid he knew all the meat on this ship was human meat, more specifically meat from children like him and Six. “W-well then, thank you.” (y/n) took the piece of sausage and eagerly dug in, the flavors of the meat calming his hunger but also disturbing his mind. “You literally risked your life to get me this, the least I can do is share some with you. Six took a moment to look down at the food, then grabbed the sausage, ripped it in half, and held it out to (y/n), “Here, eat.” He let out a small grunt, holding his stomach as if doing so will stop it from growling so much. “I’m not hungry, and it’s just barely enough to fill one of us,” just as he finished his sentence, (y/n)’s stomach growled in protest to his claim. Then she stopped mid-bite when she noticed (y/n) wasn’t eating anything, “Hey, you don’t want any?” “Is it good?” (y/n)’s answer was Six grabbing more bread and cheese. Anyway, I know you’re hungry, eat,” (y/n) shoved the food up in front of Six, who took a bit of bread and cheese and crammed it into her mouth, reveling in the fresh taste of good food. “It was easy after knocking over a pot of boiling soup they were more focused on that rather than keeping an eye out for anyone trying to take some food. “Got it straight from the kitchen of course.” “H-how did you get this?” she asked quietly, still not believing what she was seeing. Her mouth watered upon seeing the food, not remembering the last time she had food that wasn’t out from the garbage or already have gone bad. Six looked to see a full sausage, the end of a loaf of bread that was not moldy, and a chunk of cheese. ![]() (y/n) flinched and backed off a bit, “Whoa! Uhhh, nightmare again?” The little girl only nodded, “Well good thing I came prepared this time.” (y/n) sat down across from her and set down what he had in his arms before her, “I got some good stuff this time.” Suddenly she sat up with a jolt, her eyes wide in apparent fear and her breath came out in small huffs. (y/n) hopped up onto the suitcase next to her and as to not to startle her, (y/n) gently shook her shoulders. He finally came to a darker part of the Maw and knew he had reached his destination when he saw the open suitcase and the little girl dressed in a yellow raincoat sleeping in it. (y/n) had been on this ship called them Maw ever since he could remember, he knew his fate was to be killed, cooked and served to the gluttonous rich folk who come here to dine, not caring a bit about where the meat came from and only about satisfying their never ending appetite. ![]() The young boy ran through the dark underground drains with excitement, his arms filled with delicious things to eat.
